Yes. With the free PlantWave app on iOS and Android you can record audio and video of your plant's performance right from your phone, save it for later listening, and share it with friends by text or email. No subscription needed.
One important tip: the app does not store recordings internally. When you stop a recording, your phone's save dialog appears; that is the only moment the recording is saved. If the dialog is canceled, the recording is gone. We suggest saving to the same place every time, like your Downloads folder. More: Where do my recordings save?
The free app includes a dozen soundsets. On iOS, the optional Plus subscription unlocks a growing library of additional soundsets and adds features like tuning options and MIDI recording; on Android those soundsets are already unlocked, free. Full breakdown: Subscription Benefits.
